1. Who is responsible

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when booking or managing a rental, including name, email, phone, delivery and pickup addresses, order details, payment status (processed by our payment provider), and messages you send to support.

We also collect basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, and we store cart and sign-in preferences in your browser so the Site can remember your booking. On your first visit we may store the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign parameters (including gclid and fbclid) so a paid booking can show where it came from.

If this business turns on Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or a Google Ads conversion id, those scripts load after the page is idle or you interact with it. They are not loaded when those ids are blank. You can unsubscribe from a checkout reminder with the link in that email.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide tote delivery and pickup, process payments and refunds, send order updates, respond to messages, improve our service, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate (for example payment processors like Stripe, email/SMS providers, and hosting) under obligations to protect your data.

4. Text messages (SMS)

If you text ToteHQ or opt in to SMS on this site, we use your mobile number to reply to questions and to send booking and rental service messages (for example a pay link). We do not use mobile numbers for unrelated marketing texts.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.

5. Retention

We retain order and contact records for as long as needed to fulfill rentals, handle disputes, meet tax and legal requirements, and operate our business. Cart data stored in your browser stays there until you clear it or it expires.

6. Your choices

You may update contact details through My Rental where available, or by emailing hello@totehq.com. You may opt out of non-transactional marketing messages if we send them. Reply STOP to cancel SMS. Transactional messages about active rentals may still be required.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small rental operation. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Children

Our services are directed to adults arranging household or commercial moves. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes and contact
